When nancyblue goes out on her travels, I often spend the first weekend night, if applicable, on a date with myself. I called it last night over dinner-- the Fed decided to hold its critical rates fixed. The press release gives little material, but the reasoning I gave last night feels like reasoning that may have powered this decision-- our current sticker shock isn't monetary supply inflation because we're watching credit, and thus money supply, tighten. Crafting and thrifting, as well as simply learning to get things on the cheap, are becoming status symbols among teens. Last night, my very darling nancyblue and the also very darling gowriteasong gave me my final and super-huge birthday gift.
